Celebrating French-Brazilian Friendship

On February 25th 2013, a cocktail was organized at the Consulate with the Sciences-Po Alumni Association and the Sciences-Po Foundation. French-Brazilian friendship was at the heart of this celebration, a mere few weeks after the Rio Carnival. The Consul General of France and his Brazilian colleague both came back on the longstanding friendship that unites our two peoples and the importance of the cultural, economical, academic and political ties that bind us. The evening was musical and the band “Gringa” played Musica Popular Brasilieira for the guests.

Speech by Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, Consul General of France in New York.
