M. Serge Letchimy meets with the Martinican community at the French Consulate in New York.
On Thursday, August 29, as part of an official visit to New York, M. Serge Letchimy, the Representative of Martinique to the French National Assembly and President of Martinique Regional Council, conducted talks with key socio-economic figures from the French community at the Consulate General of France. Mr. Serge Letchimy later met with the Martinican community of New York during a reception at the Consulate, and delivered a speech honoring two major figures of Black history: Martin Luther King, Jr. and Aimé Césaire.
