Launched in 2014 by Ms. Fleur Pellerin, French Deputy Minister in charge of Trade, Tourism Development and French citizens living abroad, and Ms. Axelle Lemaire, Deputy Minister in charge of Digital affairs, this event turned out to be a real success. Last year, the French Touch Conference brought together more than 350 French and American entrepreneurs from the digital world, and received wide media coverage with more than fifty published articles and stories.

Initiated by a French entrepreneur, Gaël Duval, in partnership with Axa, the French Tech Conference aims to bring the French and American entrepreneurial ecosystems closer. This conference brings together start-ups, Venture Capital investors and journalists, to highlight the French entrepreneurial spirit and savviness when it comes to innovation . It addresses key topics such as collaborative economy, the Internet of Things, new ad tech solutions, eCommerce and new B2C and B2B web platforms.

Supporting French expatriates working in the digital industry is a key priority for the Consulate General of France in New York, which intends to work closely with French Tech organizers to make this second edition even more successful than the first. As it did last year, the Consulate is delighted to host the opening night of the French Tech Conference.
