April Events at Albertine: Colette, roman noir, children’s literature, poetry and eloquence
As spring arrives, take advantage of ever-longer evenings to join fellow booklovers at Albertine, the bookstore of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy. Featuring a range of genres, these diverse events offer something for everyone!
This month, listen in on a conversation on Colette, attend a competition on eloquence, explore the universe with Christophe Galfard and Janna Levin, uncover human nature with Karim Miské and his roman noir Arab Jazz, attend a bilingual poetry reading or join in on a conversation between Marc Levy and Douglas Kennedy.
Children get their very own event with a reading workshop on Iris de Moüy’s book A la sieste, on Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m.
From the classics to contemporary literature, from roman noir to poetry, and adding children’s literature to the mix, the events during April are the quintessence of what Albertine has to offer on its shelves.
