Axelle Lemaire at La French Touch Conference
The French Ministry of State for Digital Affairs, Axelle Lemaire, was in New York on June 20 and 21 to attend the 3rd La French Touch Conference.
La French Touch Conference is one of the many events organized under French Tech, an initiative launched in February 2014 that seeks to create broad collective action promoting the growth and expansion of French tech startups. The current top minister for digital affairs, Axelle Lemaire, was in New York to show her support for the event and French innovation.
Axelle Lemaire used the occasion to congratulate and underscore the success of French firms, especially in the United States, and specifically in New York, which has attracted the largest number of French startups.
The minister also announced the start of the second edition of the Paris French Tech Ticket. The ecosystem for innovation thrives through diversity. For this reason, the City of Paris and the French government, under the French Tech initiative, are joining forces to work towards the common goal of making Paris the world capital of startups. Similar to initiatives launched in Chile and the United Kingdom, and against the backdrop of fierce competition between international capitals to attract a mobile workforce, French officials decided to offer the highly successful Paris French Tech Ticket program again.
The program is designed for non-French entrepreneurs, who already live or will live in France, and who are seeking a welcoming environment for the creation or growth phase of their startup.
