Be our Guest [fr]
The Consulate of France in New York is offering its three reception’s salons for rental at very attractive rates. This historical venue, located on Fifth Avenue and facing Central Park, is the ideal space for conferences, business breakfasts, luncheons, gala dinners, product launches, special events or movies.
This historic manor is the work of architects Alexander Walter and Léon Gillette, who conceived this five story residence in 1926 for the rich financier, Charles E. Mitchell. This impressive building lays on Fifth Avenue and faces Central Park.
Its grandiose style was inspired by the early 20th century Decorative Arts. Inside, a large spiral staircase leads the guests to an entrance hall, composed of a trompe-l’oeil marble, all the way to the second floor.
