The new publishing season and the book club of Albertine

The return of autumn is also synonymous with the return of the new publishing season and Albertine, our French and francophone library, prepared you a selection of the best books that just came out. The book club, for members of the library and students, started again in September with a list of books combining contemporary and classics, such as Balzac’s The Unknown Masterpiece and Yannick Haenel’s Hold Fast Your Crown.

The Festival Albertine

The Festival Albertine, that gathers every year French and American authors, artists and intellectuals around a crucial subject, comes back this fall from the 8th to the 10th of November. The festival will be curated by the writer, journalist and environmentalist Bill McKibben. Among guests, Naomi Klein, Fabrice Hyber, Raj Patel, Lauren Groff and many more will explain how to face up to climate change. You can find the full program here.
