Financial support for the education of French students in 10th, 11th and 12th grades

This page is intended for families with children in 10th, 11th or 12th grades in one of the following establishments for French education in New York:

Lycée Français de New York (LFNY)

According to decree no. 2011-506 of May 9, 2011, government support for education fees are limited to the tuition rates charged by both schools in 2007/2008.

Financial support will be granted by the Agency for French Teaching Abroad (AEFE) within its budgetary limitations. It is imperative to respect the fixed date limits in section 2 in order to ensure your request will not be subject to refusal.

The same rule applies for any reductions or exonerations provided by the establishment.

For government workers and public schools, including the AEFE, family premiums and advantages are also taken into consideration in calculating the sum of the support. If these elements cover tuition fees entirely, those workers will not have access to the educational financial support.
