French Gastronomy is officially part of the immaterial heritage of humanity

JPEGDid you know the act of having a meal à la française was officially added to the UNESCO list of humanity’s immaterial cultural heritage in November 2010? Last Thursday, on April 19, this recognition was celebrated at the Consulate General of France along with New York’s greatest Chefs, who came to the invitation of the Consul General, Mr. Philippe Lalliot, and of Mr. Omar Khan.

The Chefs Eric Ripert, David Bouley, Christian Delouvrier, Stéphane Verdille, David Waltuck and François Payard emulated genius, to the delight of some forty guests, and under the expert supervision of the sommeliers Enrico Bernardo and Jean-Luc Le Dû.
