Lycée Français: The North American French Schools’ Games

GIFOn your marks, get set… Between June 6th and 10th the Lycée Français of New York will be hosting the North American French Schools’ Games – a sports competition among French schools from the United States, Canada and Mexico.

After the Lycée Français of Chicago hosted the Games in 2008 and 2009, and the International Junior High “Marie de France” of Montreal in 2010, it is now the young New Yorkers’ turn to play at home. Disciplines such as badminton, gymnastics, football, volleyball, swimming, ping-pong and many others will be part of the program in this 2011 edition, celebrating the values of commitment, personal outdoing, and the respect for others. On to the Gold Medal!
