Pearls of Memory

JPEG Consulate General of France in New York honored Judith Price on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Mrs Price is the President of the National Jewelry Institute and author of Lest we Forget, a book dedicated to military decorations and commemorative pieces of jewelry.

In a dinner held in honor of this exceptional publication, Philippe Lalliot, Consul General of France in New York paid tribute to the work of Judith Price, an Art and Military historian who assembled the 150 precious objects on display.

JPEG Philippe Lalliot also recalled the strong ties uniting France and the United States – on battlegrounds past and present – only two days before the November 11 ceremonies in which 43 American veterans will receive the insignia of our Legion of Honor.
