Almost a year after the European elections, marked by a low turnout and the appointment of a significant number of Euro-sceptic members to the Parliament, Mr. Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, a staunch European, has addressed the future of European integration.

In Europa, the Last Chance for Europe, which he has presented us during this exceptional talk, Mr. Giscard d’Estaing sheds light on the decision-making process and political issues at play in European integration.

In this book, Mr. Giscard d’Estaing, founder of the European Council and ardent advocate of monetary union, emphasizes how Europe risks dislocation and proposes, through Europa, a European renewal without which Europe and each of its members will lose their worldwide influence.
