Celebrate France’s Bastille Day with a French film screening!
This month, celebrate Bastille Week with two screenings of Films on the Green, the free outdoor French film festival in partnership with NYC Parks: The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie by Luis Buñuel (J. Hood Wright Park) on July 11th and Romantics Anonymous by Jean-Pierre Améris (Tompkins Sq. Park) on July 13th.
If you can’t make it that week, there are screenings throughout the month with The Butcher by Claude Chabrol on July 6th at Tompkins Square Park, You Will Be My Son by Gilles LeGrand on July 20th at Riverside Park, Pier I, and Haute Cuisine by Christian Vincent on July 27th also at Riverside Park, Pier I.
