In the context of the COVID-19 crisis, the French consulate is fully mobilized to support French bars, restaurant, shops and cultural landmarks.

Following months of necessary health restrictions, French businesses in New York City and the Tri-state area such as restaurants, bars and shops still have difficulties to make ends meet. Some of them already went out of business.

But we know that the French and francophile community’s spirit can move mountains, that’s why we created a tool to support French businesses in a concrete way.

We teamed up with French Tech startup Mapstr to create a collaborative map called “France in New York”. Discover the best French restaurants, bars, epiceries, shops and bakeries that you can support by buying products made in France and tasting your favorite French dish or pastry. On this map, you will also find the best spots to discover and enjoy what French culture has to offer! It extends all the way from New Jersey to Connecticut! If you know about a lovely hidden French place around your corner, just add it!

Available on your mobile, you can easily find our map “France in New York” on Mapstr by downloading the app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Cool tip: activate push notifications so you are alerted when you are close to a French business.

Together, let’s buy French and support "France in New York"!
