Bastille Day 2023 in Central Park: check out the program! [fr]

On the occasion of the French national holiday, the Consulate General of France in New York proudly presents Bastille Day, a French festival in the heart of Central Park, in partnership with the Comité des Associations françaises et de langue française de New York (CAFUSA).

Join us on Thursday, July 13th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park (entrance at 72nd Street on 5th Avenue).

Here is the line-up for the evening:

• Adèle Castillon, a singer of the new French pop scene, will make you (re)discover her first hits, such as the famous Amour plastique, as well as songs from her new album.

• Passi, a famous rapper, will perform his greatest hits, such as Je zappe et je mate, Face à la mer; and of course the Bisso Na Bisso group’s hits.

• Bénabar, a symbol of French variety, will perform his own classics, including Le Diner, and cover some ‘French chanson’ essentials.

• C’WEST 44, a leading street art organization, will bring together France’s greatest breakdancers and French and American promising artists for the 2024 Olympic Games. Get ready for a great show with a DJ!

• Joachim Garraud, world-renowned DJ, will be joined by Marie Berson, DJ, singer and flute player. Their unique electronic duo will make you dance!

• La fanfare des Cadets Lafayette and the singer Marie Viapiano, will perform under the musical direction of Jacques Letalon. Their French repertoire will be followed by French and American national anthems.
