About LP4Y
Life Project 4 Youth is an organization promoting the professional integration of young adults living in extreme poverty. LP4Y is present in 14 countries with 19 training centers, supporting around 1,500 young people each year. Since 2009, nearly 6,000 young people have taken part in LP4Y programs in India, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
LP4Y US organizes an annual charity gala in New York, which finances around 30% of the association’s global budget. On Thursday, March 7, 2024, LP4Y will bring together around 450 to 500 people at Guastavino’s, an iconic Upper East Side venue.
In previous years, each gala has raised between $700 and $800,000, and has been supported by loyal corporate partners such as BNP, Chanel, Crédit Agricole and many others.
